Justin Timberlake, welcome to Rock in Rio!

The mega pop star completes the headliners list of the festival.


The singer, songwriter and actor Justin Timberlake is the new act confirmed for the World Stage on September 15. He will headline the night, which is facing to line-up changes: Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band and John Mayer will perform on September 21. Justin Timberlake launches his new tour, which follows his third solo album. “The 20/20 Experience” will be released on March 19. Until then, fans worldwide can listen to the full album on iTunes Store [LINK:].

As a tradition, JT returned to the music world with the same huge impact. His new hit single, “Suit & Tie”, is the responsible for this successful return. Breaking records, the single quickly jumped to the top of the iTunes charts in 23 countries and topped the American Billboard charts.

Following the amazing response of “Suit & Tie”, the second single, “Mirrors,” which debuted on live television during the “2013 Brit Awards” (UK). With both hit singles on the top of the charts, a legion of fans sold out tickets to a show at “The Forum” (LA). From there on, Justin started doing occasional performances: on ITV, at the Jonathan Ross show and also at the popular European TV show, Wetten Dass. In July, Justin and Jay-Z will perform on the “Legends Of The Summer Stadium” Tour in North America.

Justin arrives in Brazil, backed up by his new work and added to the success of hits like “SexyBack”, to complete the list of headliners of the Rock in Rio festival.
