The Who’s trajectory is merged with the history of rock and roll itself. One of the 60’s giants, the band was different from their peers - Nothing more than The Beatles and The Rolling Stones - with crushing performances and the sound at the maximum level, anticipating the mega-concert concept that would become the standard in show business from the 80’s onwards. Visiting Latin America for the first time, The Who steps on the Palco Mundo on September 23 for a historical night at the new Cidade do Rock when fans will have the opportunity to see classics live such as “My Generation”, “Pinball Wizard” and “Baba O’Riley”

Why you should go

The Who has never played here. It’s a chance to see Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend playing live at Rock in Rio’s Palco Mundo.
One of the greatest bands of all times, they were part of the “British Invasion” that revealed to the world names such as The Beatles and The Rolling Stones in the 60’s.
The Who claims this is their “farewell tour”. Just in case, it’s better not to lose this performance.
