It’s confirmed: Maná will play at Rock in Rio USA

Mexico’s Greatest Rock Band Joins the Vegas Festivities

Rock and Roll is an international language and no one proves that better than Maná. The Mexican quartet has built a world-class reputation, over the past three decades  with a legendary live show that mixes together rock, calypso, reggae, Latin pop, and more. We knew they’d have to join us at Rock in Rio USA.

We could tell from their very first album in 1987 that Maná had something special: rock songs full of personality that didn’t ignore their Latin origins, but had their eyes set on the world. It’s safe to say they’ve succeeded. The band has earned 4 Grammy Awards (and 7 Latin Grammys), along with dozens of other accolades and more than 25 million albums sold around the world.

Maná has a history of important concerts at Rock in Rio. They made their first appearance on our stage in 2011, putting on an unforgettable show in Rio de Janeiro. Thirsty for more, they came back a year later with a career-defining set in Madrid. After such success, it was clear that they deserved to join our festivities in Vegas. Welcome back, Maná!

It’s almost time. Rock in Rio USA will have its first event in Las Vegas on May 8-9 and 15-16, 2015. Worldwide superstars confirmed for the show include: Taylor Swift, Metallica, Bruno Mars, Linkin Park, No Doubt, Ed Sheeran, Rise Against, John Legend, Joss Stone, Coheed & Cambria and Deftones.
