Taylor Swift is Coming to Vegas

Everything’s going well until… well, she freaks out. Taylor Swift surprised everyone in her new “Blank Space” music video by creating a parody of her portrayal in the media as a crazy, jealous ex-girlfriend. It’s been the latest in a series of amazing shifts for Miss Swift, as the muse of modern country music released her first pop album in the best sense of the word.

The change in sound (and attitude) is working. Her new album 1989 has already broken numerous records, going straight to Number 1 with more than 1.2 million copies sold in a single week—the bestalbum debuted since 2002.

In addition to impressive sales, Taylor has been receiving more awards than we can keep track of for her success. How about being named “Woman of the Year” by Billboard magazine? How about receiving an Award for Excellence from the hands of legendary diva Diana Ross? This is what went down at the American Music Awards, where the singer reproduced her “Blank Space” clip, complete with crazy eyes and explosive dancing.

And since we are talking about Taylor’s new sound, definitely check out the music video for “Shake it Off”. The first single from 1989 forces you to dance and shows why we can’t wait for her to take the stage at our first Rock In Rio USA.

We can hardly wait for the first edition of the Rock in Rio USA. Taylor Swift is going to turn Vegas into a pop frenzy on May 15th, and she won’t be doing it by herself—stars like Bruno Mars, Metallica, Linkin Park, No Doubt, Ed Sheeran, Rise Against, John Legend, Joss Stone and Deftones are also confirmed for this once-in-a-lifetime experience. And there is more to come.
