No Doubt: Good News from Rock in Rio USA

Five reasons you can’t miss their show

No Doubt is among the first names announced in the Rock in Rio USA line-up. Without a doubt, that’s how you get a party started. At the New York press conference on September 26th, the band said they are “extremely happy to be on the stage of the first Rock in Rio USA, and to be a part of the amazing music history of the festival, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary.” These guys are used to having sold-out shows, and we can hardly wait to see them perform. There are so many reasons for you to look forward to this show. For now, we’ll start with five:

1) The band has a long list of hits sure to make the Rock in Rio crowd scream and bounce around until everyone loses their voices and falls into exhausted bliss. Take a second and imagine what it’d be like to see the favorites live: “Just a Girl,” “Don’t Speak,” “Hey Baby,” “Hella Good,” “Underneath It All” and “It’s My Life.” It’s almost too much, right?

2) Their pop-flavored rock and roll is heavily influenced by ska and reggae. No Doubt employs these influences with respect, while also adding their own signature to it. It’s a special thing to witness a perfect confluence of great taste and personality.

3) Of course, when we talk about No Doubt, we are talking about four extremely talented people, but it is impossible not to highlight the singer, songwriter and actor Gwen Stefani. Besides rocking her vocal and personal style with the band, she also has a successful solo career.

4) The band has been on the road for many years—since 1992, to be exact, when they launched their first album. That’s a lot of years to always be nailing it onstage. Sure, their records are great, but their live performances are even better. Start planning now how you’re going to catch your breath!

5) Among several awards, the band has taken home two Grammys and five MTV Video Music Awards. Not to mention 33 million-plus albums sold. We are talking about a hugely accomplished band.

Not to mention that if Gwen Stefani is a judge on The Voice, it must be because she knows what she is talking about.
The good news is you can already get your tickets to Rock in Rio USA. But hurry up because the pre-sale is limited. TICKETS.
