No Doubt Has Something to Celebrate in 2015

20 years of their Tragic Kingdom album

Couldn’t you tell that No Doubt is going to make their presence felt at Rock in Rio USA? Yes, the band confirmed that they’re headlining our first US festival in the city where anything can happen, Las Vegas. The show is going down next year, exactly when one of the band’s most celebrated albums turns 20 years old.

Tragic Kingdom was No Doubt’s third album when it came out in in 1995, but the success that the band achieved was unlike anything they (or most bands) had ever experienced. The album sold more than 16 million copies around the world and singles like “Just a Girl” and “Don’t Speak” shot up the charts. Here’s a reminder of the kind of hits we’re talking about:

The 14 tracks on Tragic Kingdom turned the quartet into one of the most successful Rock bands of the 90’s, bringing a modern version of the ska movement to radio and leading a genre revival that swept the world. Without a doubt, this record is an important milestone in the Californian’s band career and it would be a great treat to relive this history at Rock in Rio USA. No Doubt is going to perform during our Rock Weekend on May 8th, headlining the first day of the festival.

Hurry to reserve your Rock in Rio ticket because the first wave of our massive Vegas lineup has already confirmed: Bruno Mars, Metallica, Linkin Park, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, John Legend, Joss Stone, Rise Against, Coheed & Cambria, Deftones, Sepultura, and more. Stay tuned for more news too.
