The next Rock in Rio will happen on the first weekends of September 2022: 09/02, 09/03, 09/04, 09/08, 09/09, 09/10 and 09/11.
In October of 2020 we announced that Rock in Rio would take place in September of 2021. Since then we have been working at full pace to deliver a celebration full of thrills and safe for our public. Today we announce a chance of plans based on our biggest commitment: the safety of the 700.000 people who joins us at the City of Rock, our artists and the 28.000 people in our staff that allows Rock in Rio to be the way it is.
At this point of the year, we would begin the set up of the festival at the City of Rock and due to the uncertainty of the current world scenario with the Covid-19 pandemic that was not possible to happen.
“Rock in Rio moves people inside and outside the City of Rock. We welcome tourists from all Brazilian states and over 70 different countries. We are 28.000 people working to bring joy and happiness to our public. We have to preserve lives at this moment. In September of 2022 we will be together again and ready for the best Rock in Rio of all times to celebrate peace and life.” – Words of Roberto Medina, president and founder of Rock in Rio.
We thank our millions of fans who join us with hope, in the building of a better world and in the looking forward to our next meeting. We’ll keep working to deliver the biggest Rock in Rio of all, full of unforgettable experiences and historic performances.
