The much loved Metal Day is already confirmed at Rock in Rio 2021! And what awaits us on that first opening day? That unparalleled feeling of seeing the biggest metal bands on the planet on the stages of the biggest music and entertainment festival in the world, Rock in Rio. From the opening of the gates, until the last show on the Main Stage, all the magic of metal will take over the City of Rock.
To make the whole experience even more exciting, we release the full line-up of the Main Stage for September 24, 2021: Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, Megadeth and Sepultura + Brazilian Symphonic Orchestra. Iron Maiden returns to Rock in Rio to once again show why it is one of the strongest names in heavy metal and music. For the first time, the Americans from Dream Theater will perform at the festival with all their virtuosity. Megadeth returns to Rock in Rio with Dave Mustaine, we will certainly have a thrash metal masterclass and we are counting on our own Kiko Loureiro on guitars for that. And opening the Main Stage, Sepultura and the Brazilian Symphonic Orchestra will bring an exclusive show to Rock in Rio, titled “Sepultura in Concert”.
